“Minor Mystery”
This is an instrumental piece I composed on piano. Set in a minor key, this piece resembles the mystery of life. It reveals the feeling of hurt, confusion, and grief. The path to understanding these feelings can be long and overwhelming. But, with time, we are able to move forward . To the bigger and better things God has planned.
“Uncle Sam”
This song is dedicated to the men and women across the branches of our armed services. It is easy to take the lives we have for granted. This song is call to all of us to stand up for our country. To be thankful for the opportunities within this nation. To stand for Uncle Sam.

“Pledge of Allegiance” (The Song)
Everday schools across America stand to say the Pledge of Allegiance. It is a vow to our country to stand and defend our values. To recognize that we are “one nation under God. Indivisible with liberty and justice for ALL”. We are a country of law and order. There should be justice and liberty for all citizens within our nation. We are welcoming of legal immigrants to our nation. And we wish for peace among the nations.
The writer of the Pledge of Allegiance was Francis Bellamy in 1892. Though the words are not mine, I hold them near in my heart because I believe them to be rooted in truth. I set a melody to it and I believe the Pledge of Allegiance lends itself to a song.
“God Will See Us Through”
This song serves as a reminder to us all that we are not alone in this world. It is with faith in God and His Son Jesus that we can weather the battles within the bigger wars. Knowing we don’t know the course life will take, trust knowing that the Lord does. You will face those unloyal. You will have fear in the unknown. But none of that will matter if you remember that God’s love and understanding is unwavering.
“God Is In Control”
This piece has two verses both played in G minor. The chorus is played in a major mode. The minor mode speaks of our struggle and sorrow that we experience as humans. It represents the spiritual conflicts. Satan tries to lure us into sin. He attempts to make us believe that such actions would not have consequences. Also, Satan wants us to think that it is God who should be at fault for our pain.
But we know that Satan is a deceiver. God is the holder of truth. Only in Him can we trust. The major mode speaks to the joy one feels when placing trust in the Lord. The message is God is in control. He understands what we’re going through. He will see us to the end.
