Wiseman Still Seek Him

Today, we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ who is the Son of God and the Savior for all mankind. He was born unto the virgin Mary and her husband Joseph. Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem where Jesus was to be born, but the inn was full and all that was available was a stable. So, in a manger on that first Christmas night, Jesus was born to fulfill His destiny according to the will of His Father.
There were wise men who followed a star from the East to Bethlehem. They offered gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to Jesus as symbols of his kingship, divinity, and mortality. King Herod instructed them to find the Christ child, but they were warned in a dream to not return to King Herod as he was planning to kill the child.
This story illustrates that Jesus' love is for all of us. For better or for worse. For rich or for poorer. In sickness and in health. In the days of joy, He is there. In the valleys of hardship, He is there. Wherever we are, the Lord will see us. But, will we see Him or will we keep walking as if to ignore Him? Jesus is always with us. But, will we always be with Him? The only way to Heaven is through the Lord Jesus. Will He look upon us with joy or say that He never knew us? The choice is ours. To walk away from the Lord in shame or to walk with the Lord in joy. Exclaiming His name and letting His truth be known in the way we live this gift of life. Never forget that this is the reason Jesus died on the cross. To give us renewal in our hearts and free us from the shackles of our sin. So that instead of living in sin against the will of God, we might instead live in peace and love according to the will of God. As we look on this new year, a new beginning, will we make an effort to change our ways of living from merely being our own to the ways of the Lord?
No sinner is too far on his path from getting to know Jesus. Will this be the moment in which you dedicate your life to Christ and begin serving Him daily through your acts?
Wise men, still seek him.
Those on earth who realize how much they need Him.
Following Jesus wherever He may lead them.
Wise men, still seek Him.
James 3:17: "But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere."
