Music Tour in Europe

Summer of 2023, I went to seven different countries in Europe. (London, Paris, Strasbourg, Louxembourg, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands). I was with a choir group of high school and freshman college students across Kentucky and Southern Indiana with the University of Louisville through Kentucky Musicians Abroad. A big thank you to our choral director, Dr. Kent Hatteberg for helping us prepare for this trip. It was an honor and a privilege to do this with you. Thank you also to our vocal advisors.We performed a variety of pieces for a variety of audiences. It was fun to perform with the Orchestra on a couple pieces as well as seeing the band perform. Also, we visited famous sites such as Le Louvre and the Eiffel Tower (Tour Eiffel). And experienced the diverse cultures. The views of the open fields were breathtaking. I also enjoyed seeing the Matterhorn. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I’m forever grateful for the other members of the ensemble and the friends I made along the way. 

I can’t wait to do it again.
