God Needs Ministers
Sometimes we ask ourselves, “What do I want to do”?
The question should really be “What is God calling me to do”?
It’s easy and perhaps even comfortable to follow the desires of the flesh and just do qhat feels right for self. Now, this is not to say that we shouldn’t try to find what it is we are good at doing or passionate about. It just means that we should take God’s Will as the priority, not our desires which are bound to change. Whether one man becomes a pastor at his church and another a musician, and another a tradesman, it is still a form of ministry when the Lord is being exalted in your pursuits. And whether one woman is a small business owner, another a musican, another a teacher, and another a stay at home mother, it is a form of ministry when the Lord is being exalted in your pursuits. Follow your conviction. We each are significant and have essential roles to play. But, we should allow God’s guidance to do just that, guide us to find what is right.
God needs ministers in every situation
Someone strong enough to rise to the occasion
It can even feel like life isn’t even fair
But maybe there’s a reason the Lord has put you there
So you can be a blessing to somebody, that’s the reason
God needs ministers in every situation
Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails. — Proverbs 19:21
